My Philosophy

As a coach specializing in working with women and parents, I understand the profound challenges that come with balancing a career and family life. The journey of parenting, particularly for women who have invested significantly in their careers, can feel like a maze of conflicting priorities and societal expectations.

For many women, the first three decades of life focus on personal and professional development. Parenthood introduces a new, intense focus, often causing a reassessment of career goals and aspirations. This shift can be jarring, as the desire to be a present parent often clashes with the demands of a career. Managing priorities becomes a delicate balance. With no dedicated space to address these very real challenges, finding that balance is particularly difficult.

Coaching offers that dedicated, confidential space.

I help my clients redefine what success looks like in both the familiar and unfamiliar areas of life. I offer a tailored approach centered on helping you maintain your professional identity while embracing your role as a parent. The work typically involves assessing priorities, boundaries, and time allocation, with an eye towards building a balanced lifestyle in which you truly can have it all.

Coaching for Women

My Areas of Focus

  • In my approach to executive coaching for women, I focus on empowering female leaders to excel in their professional roles. My clients often work on strategies for career change, re-entry after taking time away from the workforce, skill development, and overcoming mental barriers, like imposter syndrome. Executive coaching for women addresses common challenges, such as navigating leadership dynamics in male-dominated environments and managing the dual demands of a career and family responsibilities.

We’ll work together to develop effective leadership styles, enhance decision-making skills, and strategize for career advancement, all while navigating what a balanced personal life means to you. For my executive women clients, our coaching aims to create a harmonious blend of professional success and personal fulfillment.

  • Similar in some ways to executive coaching, career coaching for women is tailored to help female professionals navigate their career paths effectively, addressing challenges unique to women in the workforce. My women clients focused on career often work on strategies for career advancement, skill development, and overcoming workplace barriers, such as gender bias.

We also emphasize maintaining a healthy work-life balance, particularly for parents juggling family responsibilities. The goal of career coaching for women is to empower women to achieve their professional aspirations while ensuring personal life remains fulfilling and balanced.

  • Distinct from executive and career coaching, life coaching for women encompasses a broader spectrum. It addresses personal growth, emotional wellbeing, and life balance, tailored to the specific needs and goals of each woman.

Whether it's navigating relationships, personal development, health and wellness, or life transitions such as becoming a mother, life coaching for women offers a supportive environment. The aim is to help women find clarity, confidence, and a sense of fulfillment in all areas of their lives. Through this wide-ranging lens, many of my clients gain the tools and confidence to achieve those exact outcomes.

  • Empowerment coaching for women focuses specifically on fostering personal strength, confidence, and self-advocacy. In this coaching variation, we delve into the core of what makes you uniquely powerful. We work together to dismantle limiting beliefs, confront societal and personal barriers, and build a resilient mindset.

Whether it’s in the boardroom, at home, or within your personal relationships, empowerment coaching for women equips you with critical tools for growth. Together we focus on nurturing a deep sense of self-worth. The coaching is designed to help you stand firm in your values and make decisions that align with your authentic self.
