Learn about ADHD coaching & my approach:

What Is ADHD Coaching?

ADHD coaching is a specialized type of coaching that focuses on helping individuals with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) overcome the unique challenges they face. Unlike traditional coaching, ADHD coaching is tailored to address the specific needs of those with ADHD, including issues with focus, organization, time management, and self-esteem.

The ADHD coaching process focuses on helping neurodivergent individuals better understand and improve their brain processes. Clients gain a safe space to explore their challenges, acknowledge their skills, and plan their lives accordingly.

Benefits of ADHD Coaching

Individuals with ADHD often struggle with maintaining organization, meeting deadlines, and staying focused on tasks. ADHD coaching provides strategies and tools to manage these challenges effectively in a confidential, judgement-free environment. Specific benefits include:

  • Improved time management and prioritization skills.

  • Enhanced focus and concentration in daily tasks.

  • Development of personalized organizational systems.

  • Increased self-awareness and understanding of ADHD’s impact.

  • Better stress and emotion management techniques.

  • Strengthened problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Experience & Qualifications

I’ve logged 1,000+ session hours with 100+ clients in the technology, educational, and non-profit sectors. A sampling of my clients include leaders at technology companies, Stanford University faculty, and government executives.

  • Having multiple family members with ADHD, I understand and empathize deeply with neurodivergent clients. The ADHD brain simply works differently than the neurotypical brain.

An ADHD individual has an interest-based brain. When something captures their interest, they have a super power. On the flip-side, topics of low interest provide great challenges. This dichotomy affects individuals of all ages—from young c in school to executives managing Fortune 500 companies.

Many of my ADHD clients aged 40+ were never told they have ADHD. Rather, they were told they were “difficult” or “slower learners.” These clients learn a lot about themselves in our work together as we open a non-judgemental space to rewire some of those early misconceptions.

My ADHD Coaching Approach

REFLECT

“What is your reality?”

I create a safe space for my ADHD clients to learn about themselves. I listen with appreciation and encourage clients to have compassion for themselves. The reflection process is equal parts acknowledging struggles and leaning into strengths.

FOCUS

“What do you want to change?”

We’ll explore ways to maximize success, wellness, and growth. I bring ADHD-friendly tools, perspectives, and ideas to coaching sessions. This process involves key coaching pillars like goal-setting, intentionality, and accountability.

REFINE

“What tools can we implement?”

Coaching offers a consistent place to check in and work on progress. Each week, I’ll help you better understand yourself as you pursue the goals we’ve set in our work together—refining things wherever needed.

ADHD Coaching SF Bay Area

As a coach with San Francisco Bay Area roots, some of my local clients prefer to work specifically with a Bay Area ADHD coach. I am happy to serve my Bay Area ADHD coaching clients in person or virtually, and have done both effectively.

Some of my clients—even some of those in the Bay Area—still prefer virtual coaching as it saves them time and money avoiding a commute. I use Zoom for these sessions, which largely provides the same experience as in-person coaching.

ADHD coaching in the Bay Area has provided me with unique insights and access to some of the brightest minds in the world who deal with this disorder. Within the field of ADHD coaching, I’ve worked with everyone from top executives of tech companies to college students who call the Bay Area home. Palo Alto in particular holds a special place in my heart and I’m both fortunate and proud to call it home.
